To create your shiftNOW profile, download the Shifter by shiftNOW app on your iPhone or Android device. To download the mobile app, visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
shiftNOW is strictly a mobile application. You will only be able to access your Shifter Profile and view open shifts through the mobile app.

Yes. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you must complete your profile. shiftNOW will review your profile to see if you are a good fit for the platform.
A verified Shifter is a shift worker that has completed the shiftNOW vetting process and has been deemed a quality candidate. shiftNOW’s verification process is a brief 10-20 minute process led by a member of the shiftNOW recruitment team.
If your profile is approved, you’ll receive a text notification. You can also click the Profile bottom menu item and look for a Verified status and a blue checkmark underneath your name.
Payment information for your payment wallet is set up through the shiftNOW mobile application which integrates with Stripe.
Stripe brings together everything that’s required to build websites and apps that accept payments and send payouts globally.
Once your profile is verified, you can apply for shifts. Within the mobile app, select a shift, view the shift details, and click the Apply Now button.
You will be notified via text once your application has been accepted for a shift and the mobile app will display your application status on the shift as "Accepted".
Businesses are able to communicate any shift specificities through their shift posting. Check out the "Description" and "Shifter Instructions" sections when browsing shifts to understand what the shift entails and be aware of any specific instructions.
Yes. Once you select the Payout option within your wallet, you’ll have a choice to choose an Instant Payout option. The money from your wallet balance will be transferred to your bank within 30 minutes. The Instant Payout fee is 3% of the balance.
A Shifter is an independent contractor and not an employee of shiftNOW or the client.
